youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. this often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . nobody grows old merely by a number of years . we grow old by deserting our ideals.
years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .

when the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80. that‟s all ! thank you!

繁茂的扁桃树下，落满地的扁桃是你满满的爱。时光轻俏，岁月如潮，是你用平凡的爱，在我的青春里留下笑靥，惊艳了我平凡的时光。
用笔附上灵犀，这故事才能提笔。
童年的夏天，每过晚饭，我总是拉着爷爷的手，喊他去家斜对面的小路散步，捡扁桃。爷爷这时候总是无奈地关掉收音机，竖起食指让我拉住，我的手太小了啊!夕阳落下的时候，便是我们回家的时候，我们总是捡了一大袋子的扁桃满载而归。我总是开心地大笑，爷爷脚不好，我总是走在他前面，他看着我笑，自己也欣慰地笑了。在我身后，是爷爷和落满地的扁桃，我感受不到爷爷的笑，亦感受不到那些扁桃就是爷爷满满的爱。而我，只捡了一小袋而已。
上了六年级，学业的繁重让我不再去在意那些掉在地上的扁桃。吃过晚饭，我也会上楼看书温习。爷爷吃过晚饭本应听着他最喜爱的收音机节目，可我却好久听不到收音机嘈杂的声音了。吃过晚饭的爷爷总是微微竖起食指，迈开他沉重的步伐，往家斜对面的小路走去，他会弯下身子去捡起一个扁桃，凑近身子嗅嗅又小心翼翼地放下来。夕阳落下的时候他就回来了。他的脸上映着微笑，目视前方，像是看着最值得他开心的事情。爷爷身后依旧是落满地的扁桃，不论岁月的如潮的洗涤。
