christmas is the most important festival in the western world. it falls on december 25th. when my mother and i stayed in america, we were invited by one of my mother＇s friends to have christmas with an american family. we bought some presents for our american friends on our way to their house.
they had prepared different kinds of gifts for their family and guests when we got to their house, such as christmas candles, cakes, cards, little toys, biscuits and so on. a christmas tree was placed in the comer of the brilliant hall. how beautiful it was! we were impressed by these. we had a big meal.
after dinner, they told us some interesting stories about christmas.
we learned that christmas had something to do with god. we went to bed at midnight. though we knew the santa claus was not true, we were still waiting for the santa claus with white beard to bring us presents.and we received many beautiful presents the next morning.
this christmas was really unforgettable. not only did i have a good time, but also i knew something about foreign culture.

首先出场的是鼓乐队,他们穿着整齐划一的服装,脸上挂着幸福的微笑,个个自信满满,手拿乐器,吹号的队员们个个鼓足了腮帮子,脸憋得通红,鼓手们则卯足了劲,卖力地敲着,雄赳赳气昂昂地朝我们走来,鼓乐队的精彩表演拉开了趣味运动会的序幕。
表演结束,比赛正式开始。有精彩的30米抱球跑接力,激烈的筷子夹球比赛,搞笑的运送伤员比赛,跳绳比赛……当然了,最精彩的还是“两人三足”比赛了。两个人用红领巾把两条腿绑在一起,看谁最先跑到终点,中途摔倒就算失败。在同学们的欢呼声中,参赛选手们上场了,他们个个神采飞扬,精神抖擞,站在起跑线上,手拉着手,弓着腰,做着向前冲的准备,像是一定要赢得这场比赛。预备----开始!裁判员一声令下,运动员们口里喊着“一二”“一二”的口号,个个像离弦的箭一样向前冲去。也许是跑得太猛了,突然,四三班的一个同学一个趔趄,跌倒在地,沮丧地退场了。其他三组同学继续向前冲。 “加油,”“加油,”各班的同学卖力地喊着,加油声,呼喊声不绝于耳。瞧,我班赵坤赵鹏兄弟俩配合得多默契啊,刚刚上场就把其他几个班远远地甩到了后面。看着参赛选手们拼搏劲头,我也开始摩拳擦掌,跃跃欲试,希望自己的比赛快点到来。
接下来是其他班同学上场举行跳绳比赛,首先上场的是我们班的张西芮和齐睿,听到发令枪的声音,他们迅速甩起绳子,绳子在空中上下翻舞,只听见绳子接触地面的刷刷声,不好,齐睿的脚挡住了绳子,她赶忙把绳子往后甩了一下,继续跳了起来……100,150,158“停”,裁判员宣布时间到,她停了下来,上气不接下气的走出了赛场,比赛继续进行着……分数还在不断的刷新:170、179、180。此时,跳绳比赛已成为全校的焦点,那绳子如同天空舞动着的灿烂的彩虹,而运动员们则像彩虹里飘飞的仙女,挥舞着彩带……
最后一个项目,也是我的参赛项目-----摸石头过河10米接力。这个比赛也相当激烈,比赛规则是一人三块石头,中途脚不能挨地,跑到对面后,把石头给另一个人手中就完成了,我全神贯注的听着裁判员的口号,预备-----开始!裁判员一声令下,比赛正式开始了,我边挪边走,看着其他班同学一一到达了终点,我心急如焚,像热锅上的蚂蚁,老天爷也就是不给面子,心急还真吃不了热豆腐,我快速地挪动着,不好,线路走歪了。无奈,我只好调整路线,继续进行。终于,我以蜗牛一样的速度到达了终点,同学们迫不及待的一个接一个上场……停----时间到!裁判员一声令下,运动员们都停止了挪动,糟了,失败了!
这次的运动会我们虽然没有取得好成绩,但给我们紧张的学习生活增添了无限趣味。
